The third shot I think is the most creative. I like the flame in this photo.

Thanks, Rohan!

Right, the flame makes it a spectacular shot
but there was not much creativity involved!

The shots needs a bit more light, don't you think?

Kelly, it depends what one wants to see!

If you want to document the people, the workshop,
then ok. Here, these are documenting the craft, not
the craftsmen nor the workshop.

Glass is worked in dimmer light since the heat of the
glass is appreciated by its glow — which is not well
seen in bright light.

So this is how they identify the quality of the glass. Nice pointers here. The flames are interesting to watch.

In the world? I don't know… but in Venice, they are plenty
— and they are proud of their local industry! Cheers Kevin!

In japan, old crafts are protected and their masters
are known as national treasures.

France has an old crafts culture as well… they will be
needed for Notre-Dame… most certainly.

Yeah! I think these kinds of artistry is what is lacking for most pieces today. Craftsmanship is I think something that has to be preserved by passing them on to the next generation.

Yes, as cultural heritage!
