First attempt at street photography

I'm far too much of a coward to do this on a normal day, so I decided to do it on Halloween.

The main technique I learned was to camp out next to a bright sign so that you get enough light on the subjects. But it was ridiculously busy to it was often quite hard to get a clean shot of anyone (as you can see in the last photo).

This one was stretching the limitations of my camera as they were across the alley further from the light source, which you can see in the noise and struggle to focus. But I like the eye contact, costumes and background.

All from eye level. I take many of mine from chest high, swinging from the neck strap.

Very nice street shot set. On the first you might lighten it up a bit.
