Our 6-month old Daughter Katy on one of her 'away-missions' to the floor...she usually gets frustrated after ten minutes and has a bit of a moan...

Deliberately left them 'unstraightened' as it lends a sense of unbalance to them - which is what she was feeling, I'm sure...

All images: Nikon D3; 24-70 at the wider end; natural light from a french window behind me...

Great pics and good processing too! The movie industry calls that a Dutch angle or "Dutch tilt", and is used to give the viewer a sense of imbalance. It works well here too.

Matthew :)

PS they use it in the opening shot of The Wall with the Pink Floyd (directed by Alan Parker).

Locks on everything that opens here in the house and I'll be moving all photo-equipment into locked metal cabinets in the studio as soon as I finish installing the new alarm system...lol

:agree: :judge: The tilt works well with your subject (whose adorable btw) and I love the color. Just the right amount of PP not too much, just enough to enhance the photo. Well done!
