I like the colors in the top half, but I'm not convinced by the square, half-and-half composition with markedly differing textures. This is turned on its side, right?

I'd remove the top 25% and go back to a 2x3 format, using the top line of the round-y part as the horizon line. Removing a lot of the metal allows those reflections to become more interesting, much like clouds in the sky.

But that's just me. I'm going to get a bumper sticker or a tattoo that says that.

I see where you are going, Gary. I did have something in mind though, more symbolic than representational. I thought of the upper "metal" part as large, crashing surf, about to overwhelm the "calm" pond below. I was thinking of the changes Jimi Hendrix made in music with his radical concepts. It didn't seem too far fetched, since the architect, Frank Gehry, used surface forms whose cross-sections are sine wave curves throughout the EMP, a tribute to Hendrix, to connote music. But, maybe I've been smoking too much...
Thanks for your comments!

For abstract it kind of clashes, almost too busy. I dunno. Just doesn't do it for me. The ones you directed me from in the other thread were better 10 fold. :kmonst:

Thanks, Scotty. As I said, I'm not sure...but I'm getting there.

I dont mind it as a background for an overlay or to support a larger body of work in the same style

Interesting, I do like it. Has an abstract artsy feeling to it.
