Tribute to the 101st Airbourne members who died on their way back from peacekeeping duty in the Sinai, 12 December 1985. After refueling at Gander, Newfoundland, the plane encountered mechanical trouble and crashed on takeoff killing all aboard. The monument was erected by the 8 Wing Canadian Forces Gander.
