Photo Contest Give-A-Way!!!

Well they said they would be picked today. I guess technically they never said they would ever be announced. LOL

Good point. Alex is on PDT time so he may just be waking up . I know he has been up for hours reviewing the entries and making the tough decisions.

Alex has been posting alreasy, so he is up...He may be leaving the judging to others, who knows?...You do have a point about the different time zones though..It will likely be later though...Not a contest I'd like to judge..Since there are so many different tpyes of photos, it will be very subjective....That said, those who don't win shouldn't assume that their work isn't good....I judge for local photo clubs here in Georgia & I see so many good shots, but only a few can win a competition...That means it's only the opinion of the judge

This is a truly great emotion... as we in India say: 'You do have a lot of gutsy JOSH!' I love this.

I'm already a winner. I entered this contest thinking I would post a few photos each day then everyone sorta caught a case of enthusiasm. I also began to run out of "contest grade" photos. I had just gotten a new camera and lens so I put them to work. I explored my post production process and found new skills there as well. Combing my archives for old images that just needed a little dusting and polishing, I found a few more entries. Every day - make that every hour... Actually, I wouldn't have mind being part of the judgeing. I love looking through everyone photos. I lost track commenting in this thread by the time it hit 120 pages. Then it became a pain in the butt to click on a single page one after the other to back track to leave comments.

Sometimes when I want to leave a comment it takes forever for it to load. Dont' know if it is the site or my computer?

Agree on the navigation. Perhaps Alex will write some code for the next contest:watching:
