Beautiful capture Karl. I love the DoF where the bridge in the BG is soft but not washed out in Bokeh, so, this way your attention is not distracted from the snow covered plants but as you explore the rest of the photo you can still see this wonderful soft beautiful bridge in the BG.

That's just a timer David - similar to the original Windows hourglass... I suspect the black timer is "sending to the host" and the green is "receiving from the host" or something like that.. in and of itself probably has nothing to do with the image upload issues but it could be an indicator of what it going on in the background... stopping and resuming would indicate a lot of traffic on the network or a poor connection with a lot of retries..
I've wondered too if sometimes people are trying to upload a photo and they hit the "Back" button before the cycle is complete - would that cause a disconnect and the errors we're seeing? I haven't tried it myself to prove/disprove the theory though...
I can't speak for anyone else Dave, but I am not doing that. I was able to upload just fine for about 3 days maybe(?) and then poof, error, error, error and no photos uploaded. But I can upload to my "My Photos Folder" with no problems.
