Who knows infrared photography?

10 years 2 months ago #113852 by Kitzmiller
I have been wanting to get into infrared photography and was hoping to fetch some tips or technique suggestions from a seasoned infrared guru. Anyone care to share some idea's for a noob just getting started? Which filters did you pick up and which software do you use?

Thanks a bunch!

Learn to read your histogram. The light meter in your camera measures visible light, and is rarely accurate for measuring IR.
