What would you do with $2400? Get a back up camera or new lens?
So I'm on the fence with either getting a new camera body that will act as back up camera to my Canon EOS-5D Mark II. OR I will get a new lens?
This is what I have right now:
Sigma 24-60 f/2.8 EX
70-200mm f/4
Canon 100mm f/2.8
Canon 17-40mm f/4L
430EX
I was thinking about getting a 70-200mm f/2.8.

A 70-200 f/2.8 is a great lens to have as well. For any lens I purchase, I usually look at user reviews, especially the ones found at this link: www.fredmiranda.com/reviews/ - really good resource. And of course if you buy that lens, you can sell your 70-200 f/4 to make room for another future purchase

I like that idea. Why have two 70-200. IMO, that is just one more lens to get in the way of the same focal length.
