other techniques?

I`m searching for "special techniques" to make photos. Such as there is that technique where you twist the zoom lens while taking the picture. Are there any other "special techniques"?

Longer, hand-held exposures that give a painterly quality to scenic photos.

Second-curtain flash + slow shutter speeds at twilight and at night

"Camera tossing"

Thanks. Well I have already done the long hand held shots, but that was due to not having a tripod, not because I wanted a painter affect. Camera tossing, is that really what I think it is?

There is also the multiple exposures. Where you have someone posed, take a picture, have them move or pose different within the frame and take the picture again (do it as many times as you wish) then combine all exposures together as one in photoshop.

Yes, people really do toss their camera in the air. Crazy :toocrazy: but true.

Yes. "Camera tossing" is exactly what you are thinking it is.

Here is a thread with the :toocrazy: doing it.

I have tried the camera tossing with my point and shoot years ago....it didn't end so well. I am glad I used my point and shoot and not my DSLR.
