How would you handling this last minute wedding cancelation?

As mentioned this was posted 4 months ago, so I imagine even if there wasn't a follow up posted, the situation would have been resolved a long time ago. The app running on the PT Facebook page periodically revives these old threads and it seems to come across on there like it's a current situation (asking for help or suggestions).

Other people I suppose may benefit if they run across a similar situation, but instead of old information getting reposted it seems like it would work better to provide info. on the search feature, so someone new to the site can find information on a particular topic. That way someone new to the site can access information but it would keep the forum current for those who have been already using the site for some time.

Personally being somewhat new to the site, these threads that do surface are good reading. I don't think it's a question that the search needs to be improved. People might not be searching for something like this, but still find it interesting to read. As I did. Old or not, it was a good read. :judge:

Under my contract the deposit is not refundable and in this case I would have received the final payment before the wedding. Now in this situation I would be willing to reschedule but require a guaranteed payment prior to the next scheduled date and if I were already shooting that would be non refundable as well.
