Usually in my vest pocket or camera bag when not on the lens- used to lose them otherwise

Another vote for the in the pocket it goes. I've tried the lens cap leash things, but I have found this to be more annoying the useful.

I try to wear cargo pants too. Remote shutter releases and other small stuff goes in the pockets, too. Then the only problem is remembering which pocket has which stuff.

Front left pocket unless something else is there...never had a lint issue but I have oddly forgotten to replace it and had it run through the wash--says I'm NOT a pro when I forget to put the lens cap back on! lol maybe I'm just a blonde...

Another dimension. Opening the class 9 warp gate can be a challenge the first few times, but once you master the ninja art of irrepressibility transmogrifying gateway fist, it's easy.

Barring that: front pocket.

Goes in the bag or front pocket. Once I put it under my hat and spent hours looking for it!
