What are you using for touch up paint for your lenses?

When you scratch your lens or have normal wear that fades the black. What paint are you using to 'freshen up' your lens to original condition?

Maybe repair a scratch with auto paint, but I would never paint the lens. :beerbang:

Nothing at all. I find it adds character to the lens.

If you ever plan on selling the lens, I would not put any paint on them..........

No clue at all, I'd give the Sharpy a shot if you really wanted to remove appearance of scratch. I'm not sure the shade will match.

:agree: 2: Marks of honor! If you worry about scratching the camera or lens, you aren't concentrating enough on the shot!

:agree: A gouge is like a memory...you shouldn't erase it! ( I have a couple on one of my lens hoods, which remind me of the time I had my lens fed between two strands of barbed wire to get a shot...a couple steers that were in the pasture kept trying to lick my lens, and I had to shoo them away every few minutes. The gouges make me smile! ) :)

What you are is so loud, I can't hear a word you say!

NOTHING! It cheapens the lens and value. If you ever want to sell the lens, in my opinion, no one would ever want to purchase it. Just my 2 cents.

I wouldn't touch it, besides it adds character to your lens.
