I would be happy with any of the cameras so far mentioned in this thread. Matter of fact if you need a judge to hold the camera while the contest is going on, I can be your man. :whistle:

A Phase One would be a show stopper! That would demand a lot of attention. But $30,000 is not joke of a prize!

I was given a Canon Rebel XTi at Xmas 2012, so guess you can say I am a budding shutterbug...but like all of us here, it's a great passion to have..don't know enough about different types of cameras, so I'll stick with the tried and true..my choice is: Canon 5D Mark III based on what I've read!
