Best clothing to wear when you are out shooting?

For the few shoots that I've done for other people I dressed casual, but appropriate. I think about the only thing in my attire people have taken offense to (silently) is my "A's" hat.

The aussie hat is highly recommended.

Well for weddings I always wear all black business casual so as not to distract when I'm running around shooting in distracting places. Slacks, not dresses or skirts, since I often like to get low angle shots and well, they can be a little awkward for that! Engagement and other more casual shoots I wear whatever is comfortable, usually just jeans and a blouse.

Whatever suits the occasion but as comfortable as possible, and for an event something rather neutral that somewhat blends into the background (don't need photos of people noticing me, want pictures of them particpating in the event).

If I'm doing my own thing, then whatever I'd normally wear out and about.

I tend to sway towards landscape and nature photography. So during summer months I'm in these cargo/clam digging shorts that I like because of all the pockets. I'll usually have a tee shirt on or polo shirt and then my hiking shoes are always on. Winter months are pants and long sleeve shirt, unless I'm near the ocean, which will require a coat.

I guess it really depends on what the event is, lets say for wedding coverage, I wear something formal that would fit the event. For any other days, most of the ti:) me I wear pants and shirt. I am more concerned with my footwear, it has to be very comfortable and walking around a lot should not hurt my feet. :)
