Anyone use both a grey card and Expodisc

I'm putting some thought into getting one of those Expodisc's. I've been using a grey card and honestly it works just fine. I guess I'm looking for something a easier and from what I'm hearing could be more accurate. I would really like to know from those that have tried both grey card and Expodisc, were you happy with the results from the Expodisc?

Well I use the Expodisc over the grey/white cards. First it does not get beat up in the bag, and second it is very easy to use. You just point it to the light source and measure. The only time and I am not entirely sure it was the Expodisc that was the problem but I decided to try and measure/WB for street lighting, my D300 never got it right using any of the measuring devices, leading me to believe it was a camera WB measuring problem. That is the only glitch I have had so far, and as I said it is most likely a problem with the camera compensating for the lighting. I had to go to a Temp of 2500K for it to even be close and it was still off but not by much.

Grey cards seem old school and bulky vs tools like Expodisc. It's a good buy. Little pricey, but it's the price you pay for compact and convenience.

I've got both & both work, Expodisc is a bit easier, but I have found that unless you are dealing with mixed lighting, the in camera white balance & shooting in Raw is sufficent in 99 % of cases
