I shot a wedding!!! (not really) This was actually a couple of weekends ago on a scenic drive on campus, people started pouring out of this chapel and here came the bride - and groom, wedding party, and their photographer! And I imagine this will be as close as I'll ever get to photographing a wedding.

Later in town a deer ran across the street right in front of the car, if it'd kept going it could have gone to Bagel & Deli for a nice nosh; now the students are coming back so that ought to terrorize the deer enough to keep them from nibbling in people's yards.

Coming home from vaction. This fire has taken 60 homes so far, numerous livestock and pets and sadly a firefighter was killed. The backside of the ridge is all burnt. Luckily it hasn't jumped the freeway.
