Leaving camera in car

10 years 10 months ago #284658 by Ben Mayer
When you're out and about, will you leave your camera in the car if you know you're going to be away for a number of hours? My wife and I had a discussion about this today. If we are going in and out quickly. I'll leave my camera in the car. However anything longer and I'll at least take my camera out of bag and bring with me.

Anyone else the same way?

A lot depends on crime rate and safety in the area you are in., and you can't be to careful. But that being said I have left the camera in my car at times. But one must use common sense. If I do leave it in the car I have it covered over or hidden.

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

Put it in a Walmart bag with an old towel on top. Almost nobody wants to steal crap from Walmart.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

I'll usually just leave the camera in it's bag and stuffed away in the trunk somewhere.
