Trip pod & Monopod
Joystick/ball head with quick release
Cable release/remote trigger
Light meter
Polarising filter
Grey card

I really like the Manfrotto table top tripod I bought as I have found it hard over the years to find something like this that will hod a pro body & lens and allow me to do long exposure. Here is one I took from the empire state building with my table top set up wit a D3 on the ledge of the view level:

Excellent city shot!  I love the reflection on some of the buildings in the distance.

Yes, but the blue tint it gives in photos can be annoying IMO

Why so serious?

I have to add my Expo disc white balance filter.  I know these things are a bit controversial, but I use it all the time.  Good item to have.

I'm going to take a different path here, my favorite accessory is a simple one, a lens cloth.  A must have and always with me.  I can't stand dirty glass.

That or do a white balance setting with it on. I do that with the Expo Disc myself when I have a problem of color cast from a filter.

Joves- how would you set your white balance when the expo disc is round and the lee filter is square?

I just hold the whole mess over the front of the lens, and point it towards the light source. If I am using ND filters then my camera is on the tripod already, so it is simple. In this case the NDs go over the Expo Disc as you would normally. Depending on the color cast it may not be perfect. If it is in the deep brown range then the camera has more trouble wit it. I threw away one ND that was causing a deep brown cast because of that.
