Tamron and Sigma lenses

I have a 18-250 mm Sigma lens as my only lens. I still have the two Canon kit lenses that came with the original camera but prefer to not have the bother of carting and worrying about having the extra equipment.  I don't have to make large prints but  publish a Blurb book each year as my photo record.  I would love to take razor sharp pictures like you get with those $3000 zoom lenses but can't see myself carting one about let alone spend the money on one. I think a lot of people have spend more than they are able to justify with results. By the same token it is a past time for you to enjoy in your own fashion.
May the light be with you!
Hans

Just like Mac and PC, there are some good Mac's and some bad ones, there are some good PC's and there are some bad PC's.

Works the same  with lens manufactures too

Based on my budget, my local Camera shop suggested I buy a Tamron Di 70-300 F4/5.6 and I must admit, I'm loving it.
Having said that, I'm new and have no way to compare quality.  ;)

Well if your anything like me it won't take you long to go through the list, I would say that the best lens are the sigma 105mm, 28-70mm, 50mm 1.4 and the 17-35mm
