Need opinion on getting a lens
How much is your budget? Have you considered the Canon 24-105mm f4 L. or if you have a tight budget you could look for a good second hand 28-70mm L which you should be about cheaper.
You can go for prime lens, 50 f1.4, 85 f1.8, 100 f2.8, and 135 soft focus (can be used without soft focus enabled) are all good lenses and offer the narrow depth of field for reasonable prices.
