It really comes down to the value of the Body. If the you can sell the body for more than your rate then why not. I like pushing deals like this and hitting them for a small amount of cash too. 

If it is in bad shape and you are not sure how easy it will be to sell or it is equal value to your rate then I would same not to take the deal.

Unless you would charge more than $4000 , I'd take the camera in heartbeat. Great full frame camera!
