Would this bother you?

According to Comcast the employee was fired and they gave the customer a refund plus free service.

The last time I called Comcast to cancel service I asked the sales rep right up front if it was true that it was almost impossible to cancel service and I had read some horrible stories on the internet.

She kind of hesitated and said, "No, I can cancel your service for you".

She did not ask me a single question after that and cancelled my service without trying once to upgrade me.

Trust me when I say comkrap is the WORST company to deal with. No customer service, a very poor product for the money and the worst customer service on the planet. Also the very worst customer service in history.
(I kept it clean....;) )

They are a cable communications provider, TV, interbutz, and phone Adrian. Just another one of the conglomerates here that have monopoly markets for the most part. But it is claimed that this is never the case. In the majority of the US there is only one cable provider, and the rest are over the old wire systems. Which is okay because the future is over the air anyhow.

:agree: Unless your mother was mean and gave you that first name, you should be pizzed.
Comcast has a big-time reputation for using old equipment and crappy service. I switched to Verizon FIOS and the service has been better. I have the Triple Play which is Internet, TV and VOIP phone.  I biggest problem I have is trying to find ANYTHING on their website. You would think an internet provider would have a usable site.
Comcast owns NBC and just bought Time-Warner Cable.

BTW - Comcast "is not BBB Accredited" and has closed over 15000 complaints in just the past year.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

I had them for TV as well as internet. Got rid of them for the TV end due to cost & went with Directv (which is worse in terms of reception but cheaper) ... Kept Comcast as my internet provider though as they have the best service in my area...Went to cable from AT&T broadband as there was no comparison. Broadband thru phone lines sucked.... No Fiber Optic out this way yet though...
