What are considered the best photography jobs in 2015?

I was searching Google for a list that showed number of photographers in each section (wedding, stock, portrait, fine art, etc.) but didn't find anything that had much depth to it.  I guess that might be hard to track.

What is hot in 2015?  I know it's not stock photography.  I have some friends who have closed shop because it's just to competitive and earnings have dropped through the ground.

I think it's safe to say: weddings, portraits, senior portraits

Guessing only:

1.  Wedding photography
2.  Portrait Photography
3.  Photojournalism

If we are talking jobs, those are my picks.

What photography jobs? Seriously, I don't think there were ever a lot of existing jobs for photographers that people would apply for, unless it was as a photojournalist working for a newspaper. If anything newspapers have been cutting staff and going with freelance, if even that.

Usually photographers doing portraits and weddings might have had a studio, but even without a studio it means running your own business. A photographer might hire a second shooter/assistant so there may be some jobs there.

There may be opportunities in commercial/advertising but I'm not as familiar with that type work. You could look at the Photo District News which covers that type photography. http://www.pdnonline.com

Well so much for hard data out there.  I kind of guessed, most would be doing weddings.   Well if you come up with more, please share.
