What or WHO is the biggest threat to professional photography?

Much has changed in the last 5 years.  A few friends and I had an interesting discussion about this today.

I'd like to hear what your answers are to this question.  List the biggest threat on top of your list.

Innovation is easy to blame, but pro photographers themselves will doom it. The technology is moving much faster than the businessperson can keep up with, much less tax codes, releases, permits, etc.  Probably the only solid niche left is wedding shooters, and many of those are being done on a Galaxy phone by uncle Howard....Photo journalism is tough now, even JC Penney is giving up on portrait sittings, everyone with a P&S up is a landscape shooter, ....blah, blah, blah...

Why so serious?

Thus the quotes, implying that the word was being misused.
