Does anyone REALLY like to be called a "TOG"?

I'm part of a Facebook photography group and I noticed that other photographers really disliked the term "tog".   Now why is that?

Never liked the term. Sounds like the Australian slang term "togs" which means "bathing suit".

Because it sounds seriously dumb. Not "photog", not "tog". The word is "photographer".
