How much to charge if client wants RAW files?

Kind of new at this and my client is asking for RAW files.  He says he wants to open them in Photoshop.

What I sent him was JPG images.

Its up to you, but I would NEVER sell a raw file....or maybe I would for a lot of cash......
btw, he can open a jpeg in photoshop quite easily...

Why so serious?

Unless you are in the business of selling raw material, along with the copyright, your client has no need of RAW files. Your client should be hiring you for the experience and your expertise and vision. Which means that the end result is all that matters.

Many people think they want RAW, but they really don't know what they're asking for. That said, if you have no compelling reason to keep them (portfolio, copyright, resale for art, etc) then by all means, sell them. RAW files denote ownership (because you can't edit a RAW file, or recreate it). Either decline, or price them accordingly.

Don't sell them the RAW files, keep them for upsell in future.
