There are many fliters: UV, ND, CPL...
what is your camera model and what brand you prefer? how much would be acceptable?

I pay the going rate for quality. B&W and Hoya Circ. polarizers, Lee 4 x 4 and 4 x 6 ND...don't bother with UV.....

seems ND and CPL more useful, UV is just provide protection in case of scratches.
But how much you spent? do you think it expensive?

I bought an ND filter "just in case", but so far I have never needed it.  All of my filters are well under $100, and it's rare that I use any of them, even the CPLs.  There may be a correlation there somewhere :pinch:

For amateur I think 20-30 USD is enough, for professional need hundreds USD.
It is just my voice and hope to hear from others, anyway, how tested the difference?
