Photographers, have you noticed...

When you first started in photography, your camera was always with you.  As years tack on, or at least for me, the camera seems to come along less.  I still love photography as much as I did, I just don't bring my camera with me all the time.

Anyone else in this boat?

That was never true for me.  My photography has always been task based.  No specific subject in mind, then the camera stays back in the bag.

So far I try to take mine with me when I go out.  There have been way to many times when I would see something and didn't have the camera.

Yeah same here, my camera is 95% of the time with me, all the time.

I don't necessarily take it with me, depends on what I'm doing but usually take it when I'm going someplace where I may want to take pictures, not for typical running errands type days. I don't know when I started if I used to take it with me all the time, too long ago to remember! lol but really no, I don't really think I did.

I take it everywhere like many in here. So far every time that I have left my camera at home something would popup. Now as far as shooting every time I go out that is a different story.

"All the time" is hopefully not literary.
Not when I go out at night for a meal, to friends..
Specially to friends. Then I do not have to lie when they ask:
"Did you bring your camera by accident?"

For the most part... I still have my camera with me most of the time.  When I travel, I tend to bring less than when I first got started.  I think I just got tired of carrying all the extra weight.
