What's in your photography travel bag?

Heading to Wellington New Zealand in a few weeks and already planning and trying to figure out what all I'm going to bring with me.  I need some guidance.  When you go on long trips, what's in your camera travel bag?

My regular stuff.... don't make a mistake by taking too much gear....That sounds like a great trip, pack light!

Why so serious?

Longer trips I'll just bring one lens (like a 18-200mm) spare battery and small tripod

When I travel, I don't bring a camera bag.  Just my camera and the lens attached to it.

Completely depends on the trip and how long I'm going to be gone for.  Most trips a couple lenses, one off camera flash and a few batteries and my tripod.  Are you counting things like filters too?  If so, put me down for those too.

It's funny as you have more  years in photography, this becomes so true.   You learn how to use less, and what you need.

Only what I think I'll need. Used to be everything but the kitchen sink when I first started...

Do you stays with the airlines nickel and dining you for every bag. It makes you think twice how much you bring with you
