I will need a drink before I call this client, they left a message on my voice mail earlier.  2 messages!

Apparently their photo album that they just got, fell apart on them today.

I've never had a clients album fall apart before.  Either it's a super cheap album or the client beat it up themselves.  I just don't see an album falling apart.

Did you make the call?  What are the details?

I had a client who lives right on the ocean and one of their albums feel apart.  We found out shortly after that the cause was the result of them storing the album over the weekend on the exposed to the ocean breeze deck.

Who are you buying your albums from?  Lately I've started using Nations, my clients really like their 99 -  www.nationsphotolab.com/album99.aspx

I hope you have contacted the vendor instead of just venting here. Probably before that even,  you should examine the book?

Why so serious?

Good point.  Most vendors are going to be pretty open to solving the problem (assuming the problem is on their end).

Salty air will destroy just about anything.  My brother lives on the beach and struggles with the moisture and salt all the time.

Turns out it was clients fault, they left it out side over the course of a week on their outdoor patio.  They thought it should be weather proof.

Some people just have no common sense!
