How far will you drive for photography gigs?

I'm referring to your marketing circle or radius?  How far will you take on a new job with out charging traveling fee's?

This all hinges on size of the job.  Most cases I'm within 50 miles of my home.

Well I don't have a car so I'd not drive very far at all. ;)

Hong Kong is different.  It doesn't take too long to get from one end to the other (couple hours max). 

I'd go anywhere though for the right job.  Depends on the money.

Depends on the job size, I've driven 82 miles once.  Actually depends on job size and how busy I am.  I'd say for me, realistically 100 miles would be about the limit.  Local jobs would fall under 25 mile radius.

I'll do anything within an hour's drive of home base. Beyond that the time involved is such that additional fees are warranted. That said, I have colleagues that charge beyond a 25 mile radius. I know others that will go 100 miles without charging. Just depends on your temperament I suppose, and the size of the job, of course.

Well considering I am not in the business distance would not matter much. But considering that I have been known to drive over 150 just to poke around for targets to shoot, that would most likely be my limit. So I would gauge it by time rather than miles.

60-70 miles, which equals to an hours drive is about it.  Unless it's a destination wedding.

I usually restrict it to 50 miles, but if it's a big enough gig with a big enough payday, I might go 100-150 miles without charging mileage.

Depends on how busy I am.  When busy, 15-20miles.  When things are slow (and those weeks do happen), I'll drive upwards of 103 miles

Depends on my schedule for one.  The size of the job.  How well do I know the people.  Will I get more work from them.  For the most part, I won't drive much over 75-100 miles
