A simple box camera, 126 roll film.  So long ago that I have forgotten the brand name.

The first camera I used was my Mom's:  Kodak Brownie box camera. (Now there goes my age). When I was a student at University, I saved money and bought a Praktica SLR 35mm. Only 3 years ago I bought my first DSLR. I still love my hobby.

The first camera I used used to be my father's, a Kodak fold up for 120 film with a little prism foldout viewfinder and a lever shutter release on the side of the lens. My first "modern" camera was a Nikkorex (film) with a 50mm fixed Nikkor lens. I still have some of the prints.  My firstSLR was a Nikkorex F, followed by an F2sb, which I still use. And the first DSLR was a D1x, now a paperweight. Ah, memories...:)

Polaroid Onestep for me. Maybe in 1978?? Us kids had a blast with that thing. Mum probably still has it in the attic, in fact.

Although my parents were avid photographers (we traveled a lot) the first camera that was all mine was a Polaroid. I know I wasted a lot of film because I liked to watch it develop.  I think I might still have some of those pictures hanging around somewhere.

Hmmm, lets see......the first one ever was one of those 110 Kodak film instamatics , just before I was given a Polaroid.

From there my first SLR was Pentax MG
The first DSLR was a Canon EOS450D, which I still have and use.
