I work around the house most of the time.  When I have guest over, we get out on the boat often and BBQ.  I picked up a smoker last year, so learning the ropes with that presently too!

Well for me metal detecting. I still love astronomy, but I left all of that gear at the family place in the Flagstaff area. That and the east is far too light polluted, and the humidity sucks for air stability. I also like shooting down drones for grins&giggles. :P

I was reminded of a drive I took, late summer 2009 I think, I planned on Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming for some night photography. It was at a time fires were burning out of control in Southern California and the smoke was drifting halfway across the country....Yup, right where I wanted to shoot.
There are only a couple places in the east that work for seeing stars, and the weather has to be perfect.....
(I miss the west):(
