Haven't heard what happened to them. It was said they did it because a friend jumped off it and either hurt or broke his leg. I'm calling BS on that. There is no justification and I doubt that even happened or if it did, that person should have to perform community service when healed.

Yeah I remember when that happened in the Canyonlands Park.
Well unfortunately the rock did not fall back on them, and win them a Darwin Award.
We had a guy cut down a large Ponderosa Pine in a campground because his kids wanted to see  big tree fall. That one cost him $1000 per ring, and the tree was over 100 years old. I hope his kids really liked that one, because they probably have not seen a good Christmas since. All such events just prove the statement that too many stupid people are breeding.
