Another "Can we get all the photos"

7 years 7 months ago #497397 by Farestad
Perhaps it's just the water.  However lately (last 2 months).  I've had 4 of my clients request all photos.  Even the bad ones.   I make it very clear verbally and in my contract that all photos won't be handed over due to duplicates, bad shots, etc.  Yet, I keep getting asked.

I'd like to know, has something shifted in the market where it's now a norm to give all photos?

EF 50mm f/1.4
EF 35mm f/1.4L USM
EF 100mm f/2
EF 70-200mm f/4
EF 18-55mm
EF 85mm f/1.8 USM

Make up a white lie and tell them you delete(d) all but the ones they will receive....Why do you make it tough on yourself?....

Why so serious?

I think a lot of Neophytes sre giving are giving their clients all of their shots & the clients move on to a more capable shooter & expect the same treatment. My suggestion is to give them small file sizes & double your fees if that is what they want.

Offer your customer a pair of glasses and kindly point out where you've specified your policy on the contract that they signed.

I gave all photos to just one client a couple years ago.  And that client was family.  WHO later came back asking for me to post process nearly half of them!

LOL  Don't give all the photos.

A simple "sorry, that's all I have" would be my answer.
