Back to shooting.

7 years 5 months ago #501701 by Scotty
After a year long hiatus (except for one small adventure) i'll be shooting again starting saturday.

Reserving this area of the thread for posting shots.  Going out to some waterfalls with the leaves turning with all the toys, and I'll be posting saturday night.

Let the games begin.

Can't tell from the photos other than Nikon.  What gear do you have there?

I think he said somewhere, the camera is a D810. I have a Canon strap, and a Canon bag, but when I want the best camera, its automatic...Nikon only....;)

Nikon d800, Nikon d3s, 14-24 f/2.8G, 24-70 f/2.8G, 70-200 f/2.8G VR II, nikkor 35mm f/2(awesome cheap lens), 50 1/8G, 85 f/1.8G, Gitzo Tripod with RRS ball head( think it's a BH-55 ballhead). Lee Big stopper filter, 150mm ND 8 stop and 150mm circular polarizer for the 14-24 with custom setup, Soft GND filter, Nikon's gps unit for the cam, cheap remote switch, a flash, B+W 77mm CP, assorted hoya CP's and ND's for all my lenses.

Dunno how this crop of shots turned out, about to start looking/editing them now. Hopefully I got 1-2 good ones, i'm a tad rusty.

Canon strap was when I was in the CPS program with canon. The strap is comfy and it gets a lot of strange looks when people see it on my d3s.
