It happened to me today

7 years 4 months ago #506828 by Finn
Drove 1 hour 20 minutes this morning to get an early start.  After shooting about 15 minutes, my camera is down to last bar on the battery life.  I went to grab one of my spares, and WHOOPS!  All my spares are in my charger and kitchen table!

Well, I managed to get 2 keepers this morning.  Not my idea of a productive outing.  However still had a good time.

Hate it when that happens! Glad you got a few keepers, at least.

Battery or memory card, it's bound to happen!

I'd be trilled you had at least the opportunity to take a few photos before your only battery died on you!  My luck would have the battery completely dead or not in the camera.

Yeah, I've managed to pull that stunt a few times over the years myself.  Happy to here you made the best from the situation!

I did it once. I carry some spare batteries and cards in every bag I carry. I like to grab and go, not consult a checklist every time I feel like going out....

Why so serious?

Same here.  I have a spare card in my cars ashtray.  That way I never have an accident!

My luck, I would have not brought the battery at all!  I remember just earlier this summer I left my camera bag home.  Yeah, don't ask.     The camera was near my key bowl.

I'm much more apt to forget a spare memory card than a spare battery. But it's the absolute worst when it happens.

Get yourself a battery charger for the car....Or a power bank to keep in the car.

Been there, and done that particular stupid pet trick a couple of times. Which reminds me, my battery in the camera is getting low.
