I stopped at around 4 or 5 months. If you can do any more than that, good on you! But all that time on my feet was killing me lol

I would think it would be like any job where you (and your employer for other jobs where you would not be self employed) would need to make tentative arrangements for coverage in case (of needing to go on bed rest, or the baby arrives earlier than planned, etc.). Seems like women often work up to a certain point prior to the due date then take 6-8 weeks of maternity leave.

Do you have a second shooter that could take over for you? I think ASMP and PPA both have listings of assistants if you need to find someone but you might have to be a member to access those.

Try looking up some articles like this one to get some ideas what has worked for other women photographers.

Work as long as you feel comfortable and can do your job with out putting strain on yourself.

:agree:  good advice.  I worked as mentioned till about 6 months.  I could have gone longer, however played it safe and had my husbands income to keep things smooth.
