Identifying birds you are photographing quickly

3 years 4 months ago #532944 by Alvin K
I'm just getting into photographing birds and kind of curious what am I looking at.  Even when I snap off a photo, and download it.  Sometimes it takes me a while to even figure out what I have photographed.

How are you doing it?

I use a couple books, Cornell U "all about birds" and my best resource is send a pic to "Birdzilla", they usually respond pretty fast....There is also an app, but I usually grope with my phone in the light of day.....

Why so serious?

Awesome thank you.  Do you happen to know the name of the app?

Canvas vs paper...which one is better? Personally, I prefer canvas because it looks great, is long-lasting, and can be very budget-friendly.
