Yeah, I'm a full time employee of theirs but photography is definitely not on my list of responsibilities.

So, you have experience on the technical end of things, but not the financial/business end.

That would have been helpful up front.

But it doesn't much change my suggestion, just a few words.

If photography is not part of your job description, decline. If you want it to be, then tell them, but they need to provide all of the resources necessary to do the job. If you want to engage as a freelancer, figure out how much money you want to make, as best you can (because you already have some idea of the magnitude of the job.... right?) and give them a quote. And educate them on how things work: fees, licensing, etc. That's part of running a business.

If you don't want to run a business, then don't. But no one can decide that for you.
