Heroclip for holding gear?

1 year 5 months ago #600583 by Evan Westwood
A buddy picked up one of these and was using it for their camping gear.  While the first one they received was defective and they had to return it.  The second one sure could hold a ton of gear.  I went on their site and it turns out this thing can be used by photographers.  I just never saw anyone using one before.  I don't suppose you have or know of another photographer getting good use from one of these?

Novelty or good use?

I see how but know not when I'd need this. I have a couple things that do similar...like rope for one?

Why so serious?

OK, so this is a rock climbing hook on steroids?  Actually this has the pivoting arm that swings out.

They say that little clip will hold 50lbs, is that extended or closed?
