Pixelated dark areas showing up in images

5 years 6 months ago #606889 by Karen Russell
Well this is an interesting one.  A few months ago, i had noticed on my LCD screen dark areas that looked very pixelated and kind of distorted.   The strange part is once I had these images uploaded to my computer, I didn't notice these imperfections.  Because they didn't show up on my computer, I didn't worry about it.  Well now I'm noticing these imperfections are show up on my computer when uploaded and this has me scratching my head.

I can't figure this out.  The camera is a few years old, it's a Canon 5D III.

Any ideas?

You own the photos, you can do what you want (re: showing them here). Besides, can't you just take a photo of something random and see the problem? Your description implies such.

This....and correct, a shot of anything would do.

Yes, take a random shot and post it.  Let's see what you are talking about.

Could that be a sensor getting over worked?

Would really be cool to see some photos on this, that would help.
