Turning camera on & off. Will you do it all the time?

G'day Justin

Mirrorless & similar cameras have had this feature since 'always' - each of my cameras is set to 2-minutes. Power off is like the TV 'standby' mode, and a slight press of the shutter button will wake it up and away you go ...
However I do turn the on/off switch to 'off' when putting the camera away for a while

Eh, I turn mine off when I remember.  Most of the time, it's off.

I would like to think I do.  However, even still to this day I'll start to swap a lens and usually when I remove the lens from the camera, if I have accidentally kept the camera on, I'll remember at this time and shut it off.   The same goes for shutting it off.

I try to each time, but if we are being honest, I've forgotten many times   and you know what happens, your camera sensor is exposed as you are swapping lenses, and you realize.  Whoops!  Shutoff time.

I try to remember to turn off, but I do forget every once and a while.  For the most part, I do manage to turn off when swapping out lenses, or when done for the day.

Even if left on, there can't be much draw created by these cameras.  The only light showing is what the top display?

Anyway, I always shut off mine as well.

Most of the time I do.  But as others have stated, I have had those 'darn it' moments from time to time.
