Most photographic waterfalls in North America?

5 years 4 months ago #612539 by Hawkins
We are planning out some trips for next year and would like to photograph some waterfalls.  I don't suppose there is a list of those, or can you suggest some in the main land only.  We would like to stay just in the mainland.  We are planning on renting an RV and driving around the states.

So this will be an exciting trip.  I appreciate your help!

Multnomah Falls in Oregon along with several others in the Columbia River Gorge. There are many in the Columbia River Gorge area. You have Mcway Falls near Big Sur in California. Yosemite has some as well as Yellowstone. There are numerous falls in S.E. Tennessee, western North Carolina, and North Georgia. The northeast has several with many in New York state. Pick a route and there will be some along the way.

Not much to add to the above. +1 on the Pacific Northwest / Rockies. If you can do it, perhaps British Columbia or Alberta?

The eastern states as listed, as well. Figure out where you want to go and google for waterfalls in that state. As for "photographic", well, that depends doesn't it?

There are waterfall guides online that are fairly accurate.....like www.northeastwaterfalls.com/
or
www.world-of-waterfalls.com/pacific-northwest.html

Many more with a search....

Why so serious?
