Camera sealed up for snow fall?

These are weathered sealed right?  So if you are doing a time lapse and leave the camera in the snow fall, will the camera be OK?

Just to clarify, snow is building up on the camera while it's shooting away.

Just to be on the safe side…
  • use a rain cover or equivalent
  • anchor the tripod or use sand bags
  • make sure the battery is freshly charged
HTH. Good luck! :)

Now if the snow falls off before you go indoors, you are OK right?  I've had some snow build up on mine before, but thought as long as it didn't melt, all good?

Yes if the camera was long enough outside to get cold.
Then, the snow would stay in its solid state: no problem.

Yes again, Ivy, but there is still the problems related to
inner condensation when you take the gear inside.

BTW… do you always have that smile? :P

Peak design makes a decent camera cover that covers up your camera pretty nice.  Or you can use a empty bread bag.
