Adorama Flashpoint lighting gear

What's the general opinion of this gear?  From what I see, it's priced WAY less than visually comparable products.  Adorama has always done well by me in the past, so I can't imaging they would sell junk.  But still would like to get some opinions here.

Thanks!

Flashpoint is only a branding of a line of products for a that
reseller. Generally produced say… in China or alike, the quality
may be fair but in cases like this, the reseller contact is more
way important than the product itself if one want to be sure,
if possible, of any investments

Great value for what you get.  Some products are much better than others.  Now when you pick up a Flashpoint product, you'll notice a difference in weight and build quality, however most perform fantastic.

Canon 5D Mark II, 30D, 40D, 50 1.2L, 16-35 2.8L Mark II, 24-105 4L IS, 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L IS, 85 1.8, 4 x 580 EX(II)

My Flashpoint monolight has been a very good fit for my hobby work. If I were a pro I would spend more. Different strokes for different folks.

No, nor have I ever used anything less than the Speedotron Blackline
in the old days until it rendered its soul 32 years later. Now I work with
Profoto in studio and on location.

I can't say good nor bad about these products but was sharing what
I know of product branding.

Profoto is amazing lighting gear, but so darn pricey!

Like flashpoint, it is a flash. The price is heavier but comes with
both better thinking behind the quality of the creative system
and, like Nikon, the retrofit approach to the said system.
