Photographing coins on Lazy Susan standing up

5 months 3 weeks ago #642093 by Cory J
I've been hired to creatively photograph and create short video clips of a rather large collection of coins.

The photos are straight forward.   Although I would like to figure out how I can quickly stand the coins up on end and photograph?

Where things get a little interesting is having the coin standing on end ON the Lazy Susan, while it's turning and keep the video running so I'm able to create short 360 view videos.

Any ideas on how I could do this?

When considering the count of takes for a single short video,
given the "rather large collection of coins" you are contempla-
ting to produce, this should be your main concern, I think!

Light is free… capturing it is not!

Use a small clump of white playdoh or similar.  That's the only thing I can think of.
