UPDATE: Back from the Alaskan Cruise

1 year 4 days ago #645623 by Trey Alderson-Cloutier
Hi all

I posted on this forum for the BEST entry level DSLR under $1000 about 3 days before my Alaskan cruise. Long story short, I ended up going mirrorless and went with the Sony A6400. I had the kit lens(18-135mm f/3.5-5.6), I also purchased a 35mm prime but mainly was using a 70-300mm. Keep in mind, I knew absolutely nothing about photography 17 days ago. So I crammed and crammed and crammed on Youtube videos(Thank you Benjamin Jaworskyj!) learning about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, exposure compensation, and all sorts of terms that were completely foreign to me.

Well, I'm back, and happy to report that I got some great pictures especially of wildlife out there. I would love if you guys could check them out and give me some pointers on what you think!
