Joby Gorilla pod hold Nikon D810?

Would you trust a camera the size of a Nikon D810 on one of these with a 24-70mm?

What about 70-200mm?

With the legs spread out wide, I would be OK with that used with 24-70mm lens.   Not the 70-200mm.  That's just a little long and I would be concerned that everything would tip over.

Make sure you get the 5k Gorillapod.  The small one doesn't come with Arcaswiss head, and it's just too small.

70-200mm would be way to heavy on that.  You'll be OK with the 24-70mm

3k is only good for GoPro's if you ask me.  5k will do you good, but I won't add much more than that 24-70mm on it.

Plus the 3K is built no where near as strong as the 5k.  I have one of each and if you try to bend the 3k to close to the top, the legs pop out.  The 5k will not do this bending at the same spot.
